2024-2025 Season has officially begun!
On Monday September 9th and Wednesday September 11th, classes started for our 11th season! It is hard to believe but this week is our 10th Anniversary! It was great to see a mixture of new and returning families.
Our monthly sparring seminars at Diekema Martial Arts will continue. Students from Diekema Martial Arts, Rosthern Martial Arts and us get together to practice our sparring skills. 10:00am to 11:30am. Let by Clint Diekema, 4th Degree Black Belt and 3-time World Champion in Sparring. Cost is $10. These will be monthly. To register, just let us know and show up. This year we will be joined by Dragan Caoin Taekwon-Do in Osler and the Taekwon-Do school in Hepburn. Everyone is welcome!

October 26 – Taekwon-Do tournament in Osler. More details to follow.

Christmas break – no classes.
Mid-January – Tournament in Dalmeny. Typically, the 2nd or 3rd Saturday.

29 Jan 24: Competition Results
Athletes from McDowell Martial Arts competed in the Tomodachi Open Martial Arts Tournament in Dalmeny, Saskatchewan. The annual event was co-hosted by the Dalmeny Martial Arts and Okami Martial Arts schools and sanctioned by the Saskatchewan Martial Arts Association (SMAA).
Twelve athletes from McDowell Martial Arts competed against athletes from all over Saskatchewan in four different events, (Kata, Weapons Kata, Sparring and Weapons Sparring) bringing home 8 medals (2 Gold, 2 Silver, 4 Bronze).

20 Jan 24: Sparring Seminar
Over 30 students from McDowell Martial Arts, Rosthern Martial Arts attended the 2nd of our Sparring Seminar Series at Diekema Martial Arts in Saskatoon. Great fun was had by all and we learned (and sweated) a lot. Next up is Saturday February 17th. See you then!
15 Oct 23: Sparring Seminar
We will be hosting a sparring seminar with 3 time world Taekwon-Do Champion, Mr. Clint Diekema. This event is for all ages and belts. If you are wanting to improve your sparring, there is no better way to do it. Cost is only $10. Open to all Diekema Martial Arts affiliates. Space is limited.
Fall 2023
